Dixie Chicks Shut Up And Sing To New Fans

The Dixie Chicks, sisters Martie Maguire, fiddle, Emily Robison, banjo, and Natalie Maines, guitar, have been picking the country music audience's heart strings for over a decade now and had built up a growing fan base. A career in Country Music can last a lifetime as fan's children grow up with the music and it's classic themes.
All the hard work was put at risk when the ladies were in London for a concert and an emotional remark to the audience by Natalie Maines was repeated by the broadcast, print and Internet media. It became the remark heard around the world as a few listeners called their local Country Music radio stations and threatened a boycott of the local advertisers if the Dixie Chicks songs continued to be played.
The ladies latest concert tour was also a concern; what if ticket sales were not enough to fill the auditoriums?

I often see bands' tour buses headed south on Pacific Coast Highway early on Sunday mornings. They had been playing in Lost Angeles on Saturday night and were now heading for the various venues in Orange and San Diego Counties. I always wonder if anyone is looking out the blacked-out windows at the not-much-to-look-at storefronts and parking lots. Most likely, they are sleeping before arriving at the next concert location.

Single Moms Dating Dilemma

What is a Single-Mom's problem with breaking-up the relationship that isn't working for her, but is enjoyed by her child? I was skepticial about sitting-through The Devil Wears Prada because the return of a marvelous superhero was playing at the same time, and as we all know from the first-period physics class we slept through, you cannot be in two screenings at the same time; you have to choose.
Meryl Streep is just great in the role of the editor, Miranda Priestly. This was a entertaining and enlightening film, it also illustrated the effects of a demanding job on the worker's relationship.
Andy has broken more and more dates because of the job and her boyfriend doesn't appreciate her not returning his phone calls.
I have wondered about the effects on men's and especially, women's relationships of so much time spent on the job and the emotional investment required.
